Xiang Zhan is an Associate Professor
in the Beijing International Center for Mathematical Research and the
Department of Biostatistics at Peking University. Our group is conducting both
methodological and collaborative research in the area of statistical genetics
and metagenomics, especially in human disease settings. Some current projects
are more targeted and address specific problems of substantive interest to
biological and biomedical collaborators at the Peking University, while other
projects formulate these scientific problems in genetics and metagenomics as
interesting statistical questions and develop novel statistical methods to
solve these generic and broader statistical questions
